The Brady Bunch
The journey God is taking us on.... Psalm 65:11 As this is an EXTREMELY high risk pregnancy, I was immediately put on bed rest and told to find "child care" for our boys, Austin and Matthew. (ages almost 4 and 2 1/2 yrs old) Thankfully, we are extremely blessed to have family close. My Mom has already begun to make the transition to our home to care for the boys (during the week while Brady works), as I lay on the couch and bed "taking care of our 4 babies and myself". A few weeks prior to delivery, I will make the transition from bed rest at home to bed rest in the hospital. The original full term (40 weeks) due date was September 1st. However multiples do not carry full term, especially of this amount. We are fully putting it in the Lords hands and taking it one day at a time. Our hearts desire is that you please include us in your DAILY prayers.....if not "multiple" times a day! (Pardon the pun!) This pregnancy is such high risk that every day that passes is yet another gift from the Lord. Please pray for: · Health/Safety/Growth of all four babies. Baby A is currently measuring small so they are closely monitoring her/him. · Health/Safety/Peace for me as I carry these precious gifts. · Pray for us to reach at LEAST 32 weeks....if not more! (God can do above and beyond what we ask!) · Peace/Guidance/Financial and Spiritual Provisions (and so much more!) for us as a family of 4, now 8! · Blessings for each and every person that has stepped in to help and that will continue to help us before and after the babies arrive. Thank you to so many of you that have swarmed us with love, encouragement, prayers, meals, volunteering to help with the children (before and after arrival), offering to clean our home, take us where we need to go, contacting companies to help us, offering to throw baby showers, and so much more! God is truly unleashing his favor in unimaginable ways! Tears continue to run down our faces as we stand in awe at the greatness of God!

In 2009, we have already been filled with surprise and overwhelmed with the fullness of Gods blessing! This incredible phase of our lives began on Christmas morning 2008 when we found out we were pregnant! On Tuesday (January 21, 2009) we had our very first prenatal/maternity visit at the OBGYN. We had the standard consultation and then exam. During the exam, the doctor said that I looked and felt to be larger than 8 weeks. The doctor wanted an ultrasound done immediately. We had NOT been to an infertility specialists, nor were we on a large treatment for fertility. Backing up a bit, in May 2008 I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) which made it difficult to have a cycle and ovulate, more the less become pregnant. Cysts would continue to produce every month, rather than eggs. The OB put me on a very low dose of Clomid to simply regulate the ovulation cycle and decrease cyst production. It is a 6 month process, in which 5 months failed. Our last month, the Lord had his hand on it and blessed us beyond belief! Jumping back to our 1st prenatal/maternity visit on January 21st, an ultrasound quickly revealed FOUR beautiful children! In 31 yrs of being in the field, the ultrasound technician had NEVER seen quadruplets so she just about fell out of her seat....right along with us! The doctor came in right away ... then ran to get the other doctor working that day. With a room full of doctors, an ultrasound tech., our two boys, and the "new parents of 6", we all just stared at the screen in amazement and SHOCK!! (Austin thought it was "fun counting the circles"! lol)
Needless to say, we were immediately referred to a quadruplet’s specialist in Cincinnati at Good Samaritan Hospital. We are in GREAT hands there as they are in the top 5 best hospitals in the nation for high risk pregnancies and "large multiples". (In pregnancy care, delivery, and NICU)
God is a God of abundance! Ephesians 2:7 says "In the ages to come, we will see the unlimited, immeasurable, un-surpassing FAVOR of God"! Paul is saying that God is doing things to supersede anything He has ever done before! These are such exciting times to be a child of God! (And to be having and raising children for His kingdom!)
Believe for the fullness of His blessing! Dare to believe for the LIMITLESS favor of God in YOU and YOUR families!!
